General bookkeeping services
1. Introduction
Welcome to Zie Pie Bookkeeping (“Zie Pie,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, website, and platform (collectively referred to as “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from using our Services.
2. Scope of Bookkeeping Services
Zie Pie provides professional bookkeeping services. Our core offerings include:
General bookkeeping services
Data entry
Monthly account reconciliations
Expense categorization
We provide these services on a month to month, prepaid basis, with no long-term commitments. Specific service details will be outlined in your engagement agreement or through service-level communications.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Prepayment
All services are provided on a prepaid basis.
Payment must be received in full before services are rendered for the corresponding month
3.2 Non-Refundable Policy
Payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation during an ongoing billing cycle or dissatisfaction with services.
3.3 Billing Cycle
Clients are billed monthly, on the first day of the month. You bill we calculated on the same day and will charge your payment method.
3.4 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Credit and debit cards
ACH bank transfers
3.5 Save Payment Method
You must have one valid payment method save in your profile. Upon your first login, we will ask you to complete your profile and add a payment method. If there is an issue with your payment method, we may ask you to replace it. You may also not be able to access some or all parts of the portal in case of an issue with your payment method.
3.6 Payment processing fees
We may ask you to cover the payment processing fees. In case of a return payment, you have to cover the cost. In case of a charge back, we have the right to terminate all of your services without any notice.
4. Service Period and Termination
4.1 Month-to-Month Agreement
All services are provided on a month-to-month basis without any long-term contracts or commitments.
4.2 Client Cancellation
Clients may cancel services at any time by using the account management portal.
Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 15 days before the start of the next billing cycle. Failure to do so may result in charges for the following month.
4.3 Termination by Zie Pie
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately for any of the following reasons:
Failure to pay for services
Violation of these Terms
Illegal or fraudulent activities
Any other reason deemed reasonable and communicated to the Client
4.4 No Refunds
No refunds will be provided for services canceled or terminated during an ongoing billing period.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure accurate and timely service, Clients agree to:
Provide complete and accurate financial records, including but not limited to:
Connect all business-related bank and credit cards accounts with Zie Pie platform.
Bank statements
Credit card statements
Respond to requests for clarification or additional information promptly.
Ensure that all information provided to Zie Pie is accurate and up to date.
Grant access to necessary accounting platforms, bank accounts, credit card accounts, or software used for bookkeeping.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may delay service delivery or result in inaccuracies, for which Zie Pie will not be held liable.
6. Confidentiality and Data Security
6.1 Confidentiality
Zie Pie is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your financial information. We will not share, disclose, or sell your data to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. While we strive to maintain secure systems, Zie Pie is not liable for breaches caused by third-party vendors, hacking, or other unforeseen circumstances.
6.3 Client Data Responsibility
Clients are responsible for maintaining secure access credentials for their Zie Pie accounts and any integrated platforms.
7. Service Delivery and Accuracy
Zie Pie will make every effort to deliver accurate and timely bookkeeping services. However:
The Client is responsible for reviewing reports and notifying Zie Pie of discrepancies within 10 business days of receipt.
Zie Pie is not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.
Zie Pie does not guarantee compliance with tax regulations unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 General Liability
Zie Pie is not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services
Financial losses, penalties, or claims due to errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the Client
8.2 Maximum Liability
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific month in which the issue occurred.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Ownership
All intellectual property, including but not limited to software, tools, and materials provided by Zie Pie, remain the exclusive property of Zie Pie.
9.2 License
Clients are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use Zie Pie’s tools and resources solely for their bookkeeping purposes.
10. Third-Party Integrations
Zie Pie may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., accounting software, bank APIs) to provide services. While we strive for seamless integration, Zie Pie is not responsible for:
Issues caused by third-party systems
Data breaches originating from third-party systems
Interruptions in service due to third-party outages
11. Modifications to Services and Terms
11.1 Service Adjustments
Zie Pie reserves the right to modify or discontinue Services at any time with reasonable notice.
11.2 Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
For any disputes related to this Agreement, both parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Seattle, Washington, and waive any objections about the location or convenience of these courts.
The Customer agrees that unauthorized use of the Zie Pie Platform may cause serious harm to Zie Pie that cannot be fixed with money alone. In such cases, along with other legal options, Zie Pie may seek a court order to stop unauthorized use.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
Parties agree to first attempt resolution through informal negotiation.

14. Entire Agreement
